I believe in counselling as a way to help and support women, men,  young people and couples going through difficult times. As well as being supportive it can change people’s lives for the better.

It is not an easy process, but it can make life easier.

I became a counsellor because of my own personal experience. As a qualified nurse I was able to help and support people with physical issues but I could see that alongside physical issues people were suffering with emotional and psychological pain that I could not help them with, so I trained as a counsellor.

That was over 20 years ago, I have a lot of experience working within educational and NHS services with young people, women and men of all ages, and cultures.

I continue to work within the NHS as a specialist nurse in sexual health but I now also work privately as a Relationship  and Sex Therapist. I am able to bring all my skills to help and support people through difficult times.
